In this statement I chronicle my journey as a teacher and musician from thinking I knew it all, to the discovery that I know very little. I learned from my community choirs, my school choirs, and my students of all ages, that by working in collaboration with them I could explore music deeply, come to know myself and them, and find ways in which to communicate to them my love of music.
